Emergency Incident Response and Restoration
A 41-year-old patient arrived via our Emergency Response Protocol after a cycling accident resulted in two avulsed anterior teeth and a fractured lateral incisor. Dr. Canal Root performed emergency stabilization within 90 minutes of the incident, reimplanting both avulsed teeth with splinting and initiating root canal therapy on the fractured incisor. Over the following 8 weeks, the reimplanted teeth were monitored for ankylosis and resorption markers. One tooth retained vitality and was preserved; the other required extraction and was replaced with an implant by Dr. Bridges. A temporary crown was placed during osseointegration, and the final porcelain crown was seated at month five.
